Account Management

Is my account number changing?
Yes, and you will receive an email after the billing system transition is complete with your new 14-digit account number if you have an active email address on file. You can also find your account number at the top of your bill which will be arriving in the mail in May.

How do I create an Optimum ID?
Follow the quick two-step process to create an ID through your home Internet connection at optimum.net/id. Make sure to have your account number handy.

To access My Account, do I still go to myaccount.secable.com?
No, this website will be retired on April 11. After this date, go to optimum.net and sign in with your Optimum ID and password to manage your account.

Will I still be able to access my old statements after April 11?
Yes, you will be available to view and download up to 12 months at optimum.net/mybill when signed in with your Optimum ID and password.

What's an access code?
An access code is a 4-digit number you use to identify yourself when speaking with Customer Care at a store, on the phone, or when chatting online. It's required when updating personal information, modifying your account, and more.

How do I set up an access code?
To set up your access code, go to optimum.net/profile/access-code/ and sign in with your Optimum ID and password.

   

Services

Are there any changes to my service charges?
Unless you make a change to your service or equipment, your monthly recurring rates will not change. You may see a slight variance in the taxes. For customers with home phone service, calls to Mexico will be billed at $.02 per minute starting April 11.

Is my TV package changing?
First, your TV package will go by a new name:

In addition, you'll have a variety of new programming and channels to enjoy, more HD channels, and many of the channels you already receive today.

Where can I get a copy of my channel lineup?
To view and download your channel lineup, go to optimum.net/lineups and select "Sparta" under NJ-North.

How do I access my Service Electric email?
You will continue to access your Service Electric email account by going to https://promail.ptd.net/

How do I sign in to WatchTVEverywhere now? Can I watch TV on the go?
You no longer need to visit watchtveverywhere.com for access to content. Once you have your Optimum ID set up, you can use your ID to watch content directly through a network's website or app for select channels included in your TV package.  When you visit a network website or app, select "Optimum" as your TV provider and sign in with your Optimum ID and password to start watching content.  For a list of networks with TV Everywhere, visit optimum.net/tvtogo

 

Billing

Will my bill look the same?
Your monthly bill will have a new look, but it includes much of the same information. All the highlights you need to know are on the first page for easy access, such as your previous balance, current charges, amount due and, due date.

Is my due date the same?
No, payment will now be due by the 15th of the month.

Will I receive my bill the same time each month that I do today?
Yes, your bill will arrive around at the same time each month that you receive it today.

What's the difference between "New Bill Activity" and "Total Amount Due"?
"New Bill Activity" shows the charges to your account during your billing period. These include your regular monthly service charges, one-time charges, and taxes. "Total Amount Due" shows the total of the new charges plus any unpaid balance on your account as of the date the bill was issued to you.

Payment Management

I'm signed up for Auto Pay and Paperless Billing. Will I need to re-enroll after April 11?
Yes, you will need to re-enroll in both at optimum.net/pay-bill. You will need your account number to create an Optimum ID to enroll through optimum.net.

I use my bank's online bill pay service to pay my bill. Will I need to make changes?
Yes, you will need to update your new 14-digit account number and remittance address with your bank or financial institution.

Is the address where I mail bill payments changing?
Yes, the new payment remit address is Optimum, P.O. Box 70340, Philadelphia, PA 19176-0340. Please make sure your checks are made payable to Optimum.
